Intro to Robotics Levels C+D is designed to be an open-and-go, high school-level robotics course. We strive to provide a low-stress option for instructors teaching STEM courses in a classroom or group setting--even when the instructor has no previous experience with electronics, coding, or robotics. The course includes video lessons, step-by-step activity instructions (complete with very detailed photos), and standardized equipment kits.

Intro to Robotics Levels C+D is the second half of the four-level Intro to Robotics course. Please note, students must complete Intro to Robotics Levels A+B prior to starting Levels C+D. They will need the skills and equipment from Levels A+B to complete Levels C+D.

Levels C+D build on the skills learned in previous levels and teach students to work with complex electrical components, write advanced-level Python code, and build a mobile robot from scratch. Along the way, they will learn complementary skills including using a multimeter and remotely controlling the Raspberry Pi and/or robot using a virtual network connection (VNC).

Levels C+D are generally used as a semester-long robotics course for high school students (following the semester-long Level A+B electronics and coding course).

GENERAL ORDERING INFORMATION

Orders can be placed here on the website but we strongly recommend contacting us for a custom quote prior to submitting a purchase order. We are happy to help you determine the number of student licenses and equipment kits you will need. Purchase orders should include the following three line items:

  • SKU 400 Levels C + D Instructor Set (includes an online classroom login and one set of component kits for the instructor)
  • SKU 401 Levels C+D Student License (consumable license, purchase one for each student, includes online classroom access)
  • SKU 402 Levels C+D Component Kits (purchase one set for every 1-4 students)
