Equipment kits generally ship within 3 business days from North Carolina. You will be notified if we anticipate a shipping delay. Please note, during our busiest season (June-September), it can occasionally take a day or two longer than normal for orders to ship. Click here for more information.
Within 24 hours of purchase, you should receive an email inviting you to join the 42 Electronics online classroom (be sure to check your email's promotions and spam folders). If you do not receive that email within 24 hours, please feel free to contact us and we will send you a personalized link to join the online classroom.
Due to a severe international shortage of Raspberry Pi's, our Standard Raspberry Pi + Python Course, Complete Raspberry Pi + Python Course, One Semester Electronics + Coding Course (homeschool and classroom), and Two Semester Electronics and Coding Course (homeschool and classroom) are all currently out of stock.
The latest information from the Raspberry Pi manufacturer indicates the supply chain issues will continue through much of 2022. We are hopeful it will be closer to summer 2022 but will not know more for quite some time.
We are happy to help you troubleshoot any activity in the course. Please send us an email and include detailed information including which lesson and activity you are working on, what behavior you are seeing in the circuit or program, and what you've tried so far. If you are having an issue with your code, feel free to copy and paste the code into the email as well.
A quick tip: 95% of help requests we receive end up being an electrical component placed in the wrong breadboard hole (or backwards) or a very tiny error in the code (every character counts!) While we generally will get back to you within 4-5 hours during business hours, it is likely that going back through your circuit and code very carefully to double check each connection and line of code will find your problem and get you back on track more quickly than waiting for an answer.
**Please note: Due to an international shortage of Raspberry Pi's, we are unable to offer classroom equipment kits at this time. If you are a current user, we are still offering student licenses and can assist you with Level B-D equipment kits or individual parts of the Level A kits.**
Please use the form on this page to email us. To expedite your request, we recommend including 1) the course you intend to teach, 2) an estimate of the number of students to be enrolled, and 3) how many equipment kits you will need (we recommend a kit for every 1-4 students). Please note, we try to provide institutional quotes within 2 business days but from June-August, it may take a bit longer. On request, we can provide 14-day trial access to the online classroom once your institution has begun the quote process with our team.
