Orders will generally ship within 1-2 business days via UPS Ground from North Carolina.
PO Boxes, HI, AK, PR, APO/FPO, and US Territories: We are currently seeing significant transit-time delays for USPS. This will effect customers who list a PO Box as a shipping address as well as customers in HI, AK, PR, APO/FPO, and US Territories. While we typically ship your order within two business days, it may take several weeks for your items to arrive.
Upgraded (Faster) Shipping Options: For UPS, please note, transit times simply cannot be guaranteed during this period of uncertainty. Please keep this in mind if you choose to upgrade your shipping at checkout. Two day shipping for example, may take longer than two days to reach you; overnight shipping may also take an additional day to reach you. While we will ship your items via the transit service you select, UPS is not currently offering any refunds or guarantees related to transit time.
Orders may be placed here on our secure website. If you are looking to use charter school or institutional funding, we do accept purchase orders (see below).
We know you're excited to get started and we try to get orders shipped ASAP. A download link for the curriculum will be included in your order confirmation email so check your email box once you've placed your order. Most orders will ship within two business days from North Carolina. You will be notified if we anticipate a shipping delay longer than five business days.
US Orders: Orders ship from North Carolina via USPS or UPS. Upgraded shipping options are available at checkout. Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Transit time within the United States is generally 2-7 business days. Please note, due to recent slow-down in USPS service transit times, we are not offering upgraded USPS shipping options at checkout.
Note: We can ship to APO/FPO addresses as well as to US Territories. Please allow additional processing and transit time.
The map below is an estimate of transit time via UPS. Please allow an additional 2-3 days for order processing. Not all orders are shipped via UPS so final transit times may vary. Please see COVID19 shipping information at the top of this page for more information on transit time estimates.
Canadian Orders: You will be provided shipping options via USPS and UPS at checkout. Please note, you will be responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, and levies and these are not included in the shipping cost listed at checkout. Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Transit time to Canada is generally 10-15 business days but please note, it can be as long as 30 business days. Iin accordance with customs' laws, all packages will be labeled with the actual contents and value. We are unable to take responsibility for damage or lost packages once they leave our facility.
International Orders: You will be provided shipping options via UPS at checkout. Please note, you will be responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, and levies and these are not included in the shipping cost listed at checkout. Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Transit time is typically 5-15 business days but please note, it can be as long as 30 business days as occasionally packages are subject to additional customs' inspection. In accordance with customs' laws, all packages will be labeled with the actual contents and value. We are unable to take responsibility for damage or lost packages once they leave our facility.
42 Electronics offers free shipping for orders >$100, placed on the 42 Electronics website and shipping to US addresses only. These orders generally ship via USPS or UPS but the specific shipping provider and method is at our discretion. Orders shipping outside the US will incur shipping charges at checkout. Please note, you must provide both a USPS and UPS compatible shipping address to be eligible for the free shipping offer. If you only provide a USPS shipping address, be aware your order is likely to be significantly delayed reaching you. There is space on the check out screen to provide two addresses if necessary.
Free shipping is not available for purchase orders.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept Paypal and Amazon Payments. Paypal Credit is also an option for qualifying customers on orders >$99 (please see the information below).
Note to Non-US Customers: 42 Electronics prices are all displayed and transacted in US Dollars by your credit card company upon completion of your order, and then converted to your local currency. This sum excludes any taxes, duties, tariffs, levies, or fees that may be imposed. You will be responsible for any taxes, duties, tariffs, levies, or fees imposed. Refunds issued will be credited back in US Dollars at the current exchange rate.
We are pleased to offer the option of Paypal Credit which provides six months special financing on purchases of $99 more. Paypal Credit is a revolving credit account built into your Paypal account and gives you the option of paying for purchases over time. It is subject to credit approval through Synchrony Bank.
To apply for Paypal Credit, please follow the instructions below. Please note, you must select Paypal as your payment option at checkout. Once you have been taken to Paypal's website, the option to apply for Paypal Credit will typically appear below your other payment options (credit card, bank account, etc.)
If your shipping address is within North Carolina, sales tax will be added to your order. Tax exempt organizations should contact us with their documentation to begin the ordering process.
Every once in awhile, we will send out promotion offers in our newsletters. Be sure to subscribe here (and we'll send you a free eBook too!) Keep in mind, you can only take advantage of one promotion per order and each promotion can only be used once. Discounts and promotions cannot be applied retroactively. Discounts codes are not valid on classroom items or replacement parts. Purchase orders are not eligible for discounts or promotions of any kind.
If you purchase curriculum, the PDF files containing the curriculum can be downloaded following purchase. The download link is contained in the order confirmation email you will receive--please check your spam folder if you don't see that email. The component kit will be mailed to you within several business days.
We do not offer printed copies of the curriculum for several reasons:
- When reviewing concepts, students benefit greatly from being able to search the curriculum document for information about a skill they are working with.
- You will be working with technology which changes regularly and we typically update the curriculum every 2-3 months to ensure you are working with the latest information. Sometimes the changes are significant (screen layout, menu options, procedures, etc.) It is advantageous for you to have access to this updated information via the electronic copy of the curriculum. We want you to keep moving forward with your lessons, not getting stuck and frustrated because a menu option changed.
- We want to save some trees! Our program is lengthy (400-700 pages per level) and the book would not only be heavy to carry around, it's simply unnecessary to print it. All lessons can be read and completed with the file pulled up on a tablet, laptop or desktop.
- If you wish to print a full copy of the curriculum for your personal use, we recommend The Homeschool Printing Company for their quality work and reasonable prices.

Please enter your shipping information carefully. Packages within the US that must be reshipped due to a faulty shipping address will be assessed an additional delivery fee and shipped via the method of our choice. Packages shipping outside the US may not be eligible for reshipment. Once an order has been delivered to the shipping carrier, we can no longer be responsible for its contents. Once your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number (US and Canadian customers) so you can keep an eye on its progress.
Please note, high value orders (>$500) are often shipped with signature confirmation upon delivery. Please be prepared to sign for your package if requested to do so by the carrier.

What if you find our program isn't a good fit for your family? No problem. Please contact us within 30 days of receipt for information on how to return your kit. Please note:
- Once our system registers the download of the curriculum files, we are unable to issues refunds for the PDF curriculum. We encourage you to carefully review the extensive samples provided here to determine if this program is the right fit for you prior to purchasing.
- All components in the kit(s) must be in resellable condition (unused and in their original packaging) to qualify for a refund.
A shipping confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to the email address listed on the order once your items have shipped (US and Canadian customers). Shipping confirmations emails sometimes get caught in spam/junk mail folders so please add 42electronics.com to your list of safe email addresses.
